it's entirely too easy to get lost in this one.

I thought about a response for this. I keep coming back to "While I'm glad you like it, I'm sorry you understand."
I like how you tried to explore different ideas with this track without straying from the structure and general sound of it. I guess my biggest complaint would be the guitar. It sounds a bit forced to me. Other than that it's a unique piece of music.
Yeah, I had the guitar sort of glitching out there as a contrast to the melodic-ness of the synths, but it become a little more disconcerting than I wanted.
Thanks for the review!
Chaotic. At first, that stutter bass pluck thing kind of threw me off, but once my ears adjusted to the rhythm, I was on board.
I only have one complaint with this. Percussion. If you add a mercilessly deep kick drum and snare then you're well on your way to a 5 star rating.
Criticism aside, I enjoy this. Good job.
Too much distortion and overcompression, unless you wanna blow your fucking speakers mate. Which is definitely not my case. XD
Thanks,
KKS
I love the dense and eerie nature of this. It's almost strange to hear my music used in a different context. Strange but good.
It's strange for me too. I've never done a mash-up before, let alone volunteer my work for one.
Wow. It's as good as I thought it would be and more. Your drum work on this far surpasses mine. Love it.
Give yourself some credit here, "My" drum work is actually your drum work. I called this a 'lightweight' remix because these are mostly your samples, just re-worked :)
To be honest, the only thing that stands out is the music box at the end. The thunder storm was a nice touch as well. Other than that it sounds a bit basic to me. I have to admit its well crafted though. Decent job.
What you have on your hands here is a grunge\industrial piece that, with a bit of work, could be a really awesome song. I think it would break my heart if you left this as it is.
I'm happy to know that this exists. Happy Halloween to you too, good sir!
Looking back, this single shot across the bow of the scene here made quite a splash. Introduced me to a few individuals as well. I'm glad I posted this.
Change forever.
